Polo Country Club

Our client, a polo lover and player, commissioned us to design his villa. This project took us to Buenos Aires, Argentina, to a private polo country club.

The property is located right on the front line of the polo field, and our premise was to maintain the connection with the landscape—in this case, the field—from every space in the house, both on the ground and first floors.

​

The approach to this idea was to work with strict horizontality, completely free of visual obstacles, both on the polo field façade and on the entrance façade.

​

The spaces are organized through a perimeter ring circulation system on both floors, where the path allows uninterrupted visual connections with the landscape.

​

An adjacent volume houses the service quarters and the storage room, leaving a garden between the villa and this building as a barbecue area.
